Didn't think I needed one of these until I used it to scoop up a mound of chopped onions and herbs off the board. The straight edge also scrapes dried bits off the counter way better than a sponge. It's already living on my cutting board.

The flat edge cuts through cold butter and scrapes my cutting board clean in one swipe. I mostly use it for scooping chopped veggies into the pan, and the handle doesn't dig into my palm.

Didn't expect to use this thing daily, but it's become my go-to for scooping chopped veg off the cutting board and scraping stuck bits off the counter. The flat edge gets right under flour and dough without scratching anything.
