My 6-year-old has been begging to help with dinner and this little knife finally made that possible without me hovering nervously. It actually cuts through a tomato instead of squishing it, which surprised me for something made for kids. She feels so grown up using a real blade.

The handle is genuinely scaled down for little hands, which makes a huge difference compared to the bulky adult knives my daughter kept dropping. She's been slicing strawberries and bananas on her own for two weeks now and I finally stopped hovering.

My 7-year-old actually cuts tomatoes now instead of squishing them, and the size is just right for her grip. It's a real blade so I still supervise, but she's learning proper technique way faster than with the plastic stuff.
