The glass is thick and feels sturdy, and I can actually watch the food cook without lifting it. Fits my carbon steel pan perfectly, no wobble at all. Steaming vegetables is so much easier now.
Steam beads up beautifully under this lid and drips right back into the pan, so my greens come out tender without me having to babysit the heat. The knob stays cool enough to grab mid-cook, which I didn't expect from a glass top.
The glass is thick and feels sturdy, and the tight fit on my 10-inch pan means hardly any steam escapes around the edges. Stews and sauces come out way more flavorful now, and cleanup is just a quick rinse since nothing sticks to the tempered surface.
